What Do You Know About Services
Asphalt or blacktop driveway is the considered as the cheapest building materials that is used for driveways. The initial cost of asphalt driveway may be cheaper compared to other materials, however, its maintenance is more frequent than the others too. This is because asphalt has to be resealed every year or two. Note that a typical asphalt driveway is gray in color and looks ordinary. The next type of driveway that we will describe is the brick or cobblestone driveway, considered as the high end among driveways, and is the most expensive. A brick or cobblestone driveway can stand the test of time, but, it has the tendency to appear uneven as years go by, and so a yearly or regular maintenance has to be done on it. The next type of driveway that you can find in the modern homes of today is the concrete or cement driveway which is considered as the most popular type. Because an asphalt driveway looks attractive and elegant, you can consider it as part of your home landscape already. Because the cement driveways do not need yearly resealing like brick driveways, this type of driveway is less expensive than brick driveway. Concrete driveway has two kinds and these are plain concrete and exposed aggregate concrete. Considered as the basic and cheapest type of concrete driveway is the plain concrete, and it has plain color and is best option for those with limited funds but at the same time would want a longer lasting driveway. On the other hand, in order for its beauty to come out, the exposed aggregate concrete needs to be polished just like granite. Other building materials or pigment would need to be added also to the exposed aggregate concrete in order to give color, texture and design to the concrete. Another choice for homeowners is the decorative or stamped concrete where they can choose colors and textures, that would explain the cost that double or triple from that of a plain concrete, but you do not regret the result. Others would pave their driveways by using various materials or a combination of two or three materials.
